PRE Fusion Horses of uncertified or undocumented PRE Ancestry – Registration Into Appendix-B

UK EQUINE LAW requires ALL IMPORTED HORSES to be REGISTERED with their UK PIO within 30 DAYS of ARRIVAL

Our National Breed Association is a Passport Issuing Office (PIO) for DEFRA, and is the UK National Office for the Spanish Studbook – ANCCE-LGPRE, Sevilla, Spain. The BAPSH Ltd also looks after the requirements of other horses imported from Spain, and elsewhere, who clearly have Purebred Spanish Horse (PRE) ancestry judging by their conformation and characteristics.
These horses are entered into The PRE FUSION HORSE STUDBOOK Appendix-B which is for Riding & Pleasure Horses.
PRE Fusion Studbook Appendix-B horses may be bred to Approved for Breeding PRE horses or Approved for Breeding PRE Fusion Horses and the resulting progeny will be registered into PRE Fusion Horse Studbook Appendix-A.
The progeny of Appendix-A horses will be registered into the Main Studbook providing the other parent is Approved for Breeding PRE horses or Approved for Breeding PRE Fusion Horse. This enables a structured  Breeding Programme to be created around a highly talented UNCERTIFIED PEDIGREE or UNDOCUMENTED PEDIGREE PRE-Type horse.
